Squash and Prune Compote

Main ingredients:

 

• 500 grams of peeled, seedless squash cut in cubes.

• 500 grams of soaked prunes.

• 1 stick of cinnamon.

• 3 tablespoons of sugar.

 • 1 cup of white wine.

• ¼ liter of wáter

 

Preparation

 

Boil the water, wine, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon zest together. After 10 minutes of boiling add the squash and prunes. Lower heat and cook for 15 additional minutes. Serve the compote completely cold.
