Zucchini and prunes compote

Ingredients:

 

- 500 grs. Peeled and seedless zucchini cut in cubes.

- 500 grs. Soaked prunes.

- 1 cinnamon stick

- 3 tablespoons sugar

- Grated lemon peel

- 1 glass White wine

- ¼ lt. water

 

Directions

 

Boil everything together: water, wine, sugar, cinnamon and the grated lemon peel. Add the zucchinis and prunes 10 minutes after the mixture has boiled. Lower the heat and cook for another 15 minutes. Serve the compote when it has completely cooled down.
